Since Shiyoujian was introduced to China and launched in Qingdao back in 2016, it started with carbon based biostimulants. In 2017, its trademark was upgraded from a TM mark to a registered ® mark. In 2018, it obtained authorization for its Diamond Logo and defined its positioning as “a leader in China’s carbon based biostimulant sector”. In 2019, the Shiyoujian Club was founded. In 2020, Shiyoujian® Slow Release Sulfur and Shiyoujian® Polymeric Iron were launched in Xi’an. In 2021, the Special Fertilizer Division was established and Shiyoujian®Plus was rolled out, followed by the successive launch of the “Humic+” humic acid chelating product series. In 2023, “Fulvic Acid+” fulvic acid chelating water soluble fertilizer Chuxiu® made its debut. In 2025, Qingdao Fumei Greenri completed its corporate rebranding. It integrated technical resources from Earthgreen, NutriAg and Pharmgrade under US based HGS.
It has grown into a large scale biostimulant platform covering humic acid, biological nutrients, plant extracts and microorganisms. From 2016 to 2026, through ten years of persistent progress, Shiyoujian has completed its local evolution “from import to rooted domestic development”. On September 11, 2026, the Shiyoujian 10th Anniversary Celebration & Product Development Summit themed “Ten Year Devotion for Shiyoujian, Embarking on a New Journey in Chongqing” was successfully held at Kempinski Hotel Chongqing.
More than 200 participants attended the event, including Professor Chen Qing from the College of Resources and Environment, China Agricultural University; Professor Ding Xiaodong from Qingdao Agricultural University; Jiang Yanquan, Deputy General Manager of Qingdao Lianhe Linong; Sun Yuku, General Manager of Qingdao Fumei Greenri; Sun Qingli, Director of Product Development, together with core dealer representatives from across China. They witnessed this highlight moment of Shiyoujian’s decade long growth and transformation.

Sun Yuku, General Manager of Qingdao Fumei Greenri, delivered the opening address. He noted that ten years ago when Shiyoujian first entered the market and remained largely unknown, it was the dealer partners present who brought the brand to end users through countless field trials and meetings, laying the foundation for today’s success. Over these ten years, the most precious achievement lies not in sales figures, but in the unwavering trust from partners. Joshua Barton Welzel, Marketing Director of HGS AgriTech USA, and Ryan Merritt, CEO of HGS Group, delivered video keynote speeches. They gave in depth explanations of three bio activation technologies PAC, ACE, EBN as well as wet chemical extraction processes. Drawing on these core strengths, Fumei Greenri has launched Shiyoujian®Plus, which integrates water solubility, soil improvement, stress resistance and yield increase. It has also developed Shiyoujin® and Shiquanbu® to safeguard soil health and strengthen crops against adverse environmental stress. Working hand in hand with Qingdao Fumei Greenri, they will keep focusing on cutting edge technologies, refine product solutions, and help Chinese growers achieve better quality, higher yields and greater economic returns.
Professor Chen Qing from China Agricultural University pointed out that healthy soil requires coordinated physical, chemical and biological functions. Sun Qingli, Director of Product Development at Qingdao Fumei Greenri, explained that with proprietary wet chemical activation and micro tetrode filtration technologies, Shiyoujian product lines preserve high activity of humic acid and fulvic acid. Core SKUs including Shiquanbu and Chuxiu® have received upgraded formulations.

Tan Dachuan, with 20 year experience in agri input distribution, has partnered with Shiyoujian for seven years, focusing on grape and citrus crops. Drawing on success stories of citrus yellowing remediation in Pujiang, he overcame market awareness barriers. Upholding differentiation, high value positioning and channel protection principles, he is pursuing quality driven growth in Sichuan and scaling up from million RMB level business toward higher targets.
As one of the earliest cooperative partners, Wang Jianlong adheres to long termism amid fierce agri input competition. He cites real cases of daylily and cold house winter jujube production in Dali: from single tree rows to entire orchards, growers have shifted from skepticism to multi year continuous adoption. Ma Zhancheng of Daqing Youzhitian Agri Input, one of the earliest brand advocates, describes Shiyoujian as “big business material”. Mao Lei, General Manager of Overseas Division, Lianhe Linong Group, shared that local soils in Guinea suffer excessive aluminum iron content, seasonal waterlogging in rainy seasons and desertification risks in dry seasons. Against such extreme adversities, Shiyoujian and Shanjin series improve soils and activate stress resistance mechanisms, delivering significant yield increases for pepper, corn, oil palm and hybrid rice. The products are also deployed for mine slope ecological restoration and have gained recognition from the Guinean government. The summit also hosted the special “Expert & Dealer Roundtable”. Core dealer representatives from Heilongjiang, Jilin, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Guangxi and other regions gathered together. As witnesses and regional practitioners of Shiyoujian’s ten year journey, they held in depth discussions on mitigating soil stresses, application of carbon based biostimulants and best practices for flagship product marketing.
Drawing on practical experience from grain fields in Heilongjiang Jilin, Xinjiang cotton farms, Sichuan orchards and Guangxi farmlands, participants exchanged views on channel protection and long term business philosophy, built consensus and prepared for shared future progress.
